Can we prove that God exists?

Can we prove that God exists?

This is the title and the question for this post.
What has prompted me to write this extra post is the fact that I have found on the Internet a few people that believe in religion in a way similar to mine; but I have to admit that those people I found seem well educated people and well above my writing standard, as they write in a scholarly way, however our beliefs seem to run mainly in a parallel way; now just because there are these learned people writing what I am writing make me apprehensive, however I am still going ahead and write my own religious beliefs.
Just to show you an example, hereunder is what T. Latham at hub pages says in answer to one of my questions about the existence of God; my questions in hub pages were: How do you know that God exists? The atheists say that there is no God. Can we prove them wrong?

Can we prove that God exists? This is one answer I have received to my question.
This is what T. Latham said in answer to my questions, and I quote:

T.Latham says

Dr. Frank J. Tipler, a Mathematics and Physics Professor at Tulane University, proves that not only does God exist, but that the universe will be resurrected, and every living soul will be resurrected to face God (Omega Point), and live eternally.
The theory is explained, and proven in his book, "The Physics of Immortality." Tipler uses Math and Physics to prove the theory, and he also makes the comparison by using a cone placed upside down, showing the universe, the earth and its inhabitants, residing at the bottom, or large base of the cone, and God sitting at the top or uppermost point of the cone, which he calls "The Omega Point."
The book is a hard read for someone lacking a science background, but Tipler has finally made a connection between Science and Creation, and proves his theory with Math and Physics.
Mine is not a proven theory, but I feel there is a connection with Einstein's Theory E = mc2. God exists as:
The Trinity (three separate or distinct entities under one Godhead).
E = Energy (God) Father
m = mass (Jesus Christ) Son
c = Speed of Light (Holy Spirit) Mother

Can we prove that God exists? This is the question.
Thanks to the answer of T. Latham at Hub pages today I am going to write this special post, I am saying a special post just because it is outside my existing religious writings, which I am publishing as I write them, so this hub will not fit as a continuity of my published writings, but anyhow it deals with the same subject, therefore in a way it can stand side by side.
Having said where this post stands; now I have to say why I am writing it; it is because I believe that God may well be as Dr. Frank J. Tipler describe, just like in my half written theory of, Reconciliation of the Universe, which one day I am going to finish and publish on the net, my God is somehow similar to Dr. Frank J Tipler.
You may ask why I do not finish it and publish it now? Well, I have to tell you that one of the reasons why I cannot finish my theory of Reconciliation of the Universe is that I have first of all convince religious people that the present nowadays religions need to be modified, so I have to go the long and hard way about it, until I believe that I have said enough to convince people that something needs to be done, and then I will start doing it, by finishing to write Reconciliation of the universe and publishing it.
Modifying existing religions sounds like troubles, as it sounds like as it is the beginning of the end of the existing religious system; in fact it sounds like the first trumpet in the Bible Revelations; now, whether my religious writings are going to be the forerunner of the first trumpet I do not know, the only thing I know is that I feel from within my soul that I have to write my religious writing, and if I don’t write them my life has not been worth living; therefore I have to try hard to find the right things to write and then write them.
My theory of, Reconciliation of the Universe is going to be written in very simple English, just because I do not know any better, sometimes I think that perhaps it is the will of God that an unlearned person like myself feels the need to write these God things. Then I think that perhaps God wants an unlearned person to write religious things, because God wants all sorts of people to understand what is going to be written in the coming new system; God wants that because everybody can understand what is being said and also because it would be easy to translate in a new language. As we all know some minor world languages are very simple, so there is the need for a simple written religious book, which would be easily translated in those simple languages.
What Dr. Frank J Tipler and other learned writers are writing could be just great for all those learned people that are able to understand them; but for the simple people perhaps my theory could be better, as it is easier for simple minded people to understand. It this God's will? I do not know. Anyhow I have to keep writing them.

Dicussions on today religious problems

I have been talking to some friend of mine about how religions started, and this is what I said:

Let me have my personal say about these beliefs.
I believe that religions started out from our inner fear of the unknown.
What I have just said may hurt some people feelings, but we are a
fearful lot. We are looking for security all the time, so we live in
communities to feel safe; it is human nature to feel this fear of the
unknown and it is good because it helps us survive.
The origin of religion therefore is an extended reaction to our inner
fear, which we try to control by simple reasoning of our mental
capacity. So when we were facing unexplainable things, we found a way
out in religion, which is good at explaining the unexplainable.
This is what I personally believe.

Now our discussions seemed to change a bit and we were discussing leadership in general; my friends believe that we are ready to make a great leap forward; and this is what I said:

We may very well be leaping forward, not because we want to leap
forward, but because if we do not leap we will be pushed to jump
anyhow; So, I hope that our leaders wake up and see where they are
leading us, the modern world needs some rules adjustment and these
adjustment will come soon or later, therefore, it would be better for
our leaders to start looking for what needs to be done.

Talking about religious matters it is obvious that they do not work
the way they used to work in the past. Of course in the past religious
scandals were known only where they happened, so people still could
have faith in the rest of their religious leaders. But nowadays
scandalous news or any news travel very fast, so, the entire world
knows what happens in no time at all.
So, I am waiting to see the day, when the pope with the rest of the
Roman Catholic Church leaders wake up and find the courage to call a
meeting, so that, they may discuss what needs to be done to fix these
problems.
My personal views are that the priests should be allowed to marry and
whoever commits any sexual sins should be removed from priesthood,
this might help solve some of the existing paedophilia problem.
May God help them to see the light!

This is what one of my frieds said:
Marriage, sadly Manfranco does not solve paedophilia - most abuse is
still within families. The fix might come from recognising religion
is much less important than decent behaviour.

This is my answrer to him:

I agree with you that decent behaviour is most important to fix any sort of moral problems; and that those religious guys there do not let us see what is going on.
Anyhow, I did not say that paedophilia could be solved for everybody; it was just meant for the priests only, as I believe that for a normal man sexual activities are part of the life cycle and cannot be changed.
So I have reason to believe that any normal man who wants to become a priest, and believes that just because he is very religious he could keep in check sexual activities is a fool, as he is not God. You see, Mather Nature is stronger than his will soon or later he will fall.
Why these clever guys have put themself in this unrealistic position I do not understand, but it is time for them to really say what is going on and fix their sexual problems.
I really would like to know from specialist sex doctors, whether a normal man can really live his life with no sexual activities at all. Now if their answer is negative, then the Roman Catholic Church people need to really fix their sexual problem fast and let the priests get married; by doing that religion as it is today might have a better chance to survive.

It is ridiculous, are they out of their minds

We really should feel sorry for the pope nowadays.

Arrest the pope! are they out of their minds?

Please, leave the pope out of this I dare say!

Reading some news one has to wonder, how low can their moral get when a public apology needs to be issued. These people that accuse the pope should first take a look at themselves and what they are saying and wanting to do.
The pope has already so many problems to fix in the church itself, so I really wish they leave him out of their silly sex driven ideology. Believe it or not God does not believe in sex, so do not aspect him to care about your sex drive. Think about it; perhaps things are done in a different way up there.

In the news, and I quote:

Britain's Foreign Office issued a public apology on Saturday after an official document suggested the Pope should open an abortion clinic and bless a gay marriage during his visit later this year.
The document, obtained by the Sunday Telegraph newspaper, also suggested Pope Benedict XVI should launch a range of branded condoms and show a hard line on child abuse by Catholic priests by "sacking dodgy bishops".

And a few days before this:

British author and atheist campaigner Richard Dawkins will try to have Pope Benedict arrested to face questions over the Catholic church's child abuse scandal when he visits Britain later this year, one of his lawyers said Sunday.

Now, I have to agree with most of you that decent behaviour is most important to fix any sort of moral problems; and that those religious guys there do not let us see what is going on most of the time, just to make sure that the public does not see their spiritual pitiful state.
Anyhow my reasoning is that something could be done, here I do not say that paedophilia could be solved for everybody; it is just meant for the priests only, as I believe that for a normal man sexual activities are part of the life cycle and cannot be changed.
So I have reason to believe that any normal man who wants to become a priest, and believes that just because he is very religious he could keep in check sexual activities is a fool, as he is not God. You see, Mather Nature is stronger than his will soon or later he will fall.
Why these clever guys have put themself in this unrealistic position I do not understand, but it is time for them to really say what is going on and fix their sexual problems.
I really would like to know from specialist sex doctors, whether a normal man can really live his life with no sexual activities at all. Now if their answer is negative, then the Roman Catholic Church people need to really fix their sexual problem fast and let the priests get married. By doing that religion as it is today might have a better chance to survive.

Therefore, the only thing that one might dare to suggest could be that the church should look back at history and if they find that before the Middle Age priests were free to marry, then they may relax their celibacy approach and if a priest wants to marry let him get married and satisfy his sex drive. Sex after all is installed within us from Mother Nature for the purpose of procreating the specie; how can anyone succeed to stop that?
Now you might say what I am getting at! Am I with the pope or against him?
Well, I would like to see that both sides look at the realty of the existing facts and adjust accordingly.

Introduction and writer explanation

INTRODUCTORY EXPLANATION:

My dear reader whoever you might be; you may be asking yourself; why I have made up my mind to write these religious writings? Why I made this hard promise to God to write them? Why I am writing and wanting to write my religious writings anyhow? Especially that writing them for me personally would be very hard indeed, since I am not a learned person, and religion is a very hard subject to write or explain. But if you were to feel that you have been called to write them, then, you would have to do it anyhow no matter how hard it is for you to do it. So, this is the way that I am feeling right now while I am writing here; You see I feel that I have been called to write my religious beliefs for many reasons, and many indeed are the reasons for which I am writing them, as you will see and understand if you read all my religious writings.
Of course there are many other reasons and subject to explain, apart for what I have just written above in my preamble, there are also other extra personal reasons which have driven me to write them, and these reasons I am going to write down and explain them to you as soon as I find the right spot in my writings.
But at the moment, the most important reason for me wanting to write is that I feel it from within my soul that I have to write these religious writings, otherwise my soul tells me that I would not be doing what I have come to do on this planet earth. Therefore, I feel that if I don’t write my religious beliefs now; I have lived my earthly life accomplishing nothing worthwhile: Not only my soul is telling me to write my beliefs as a human being, but also because lately I have had a supernatural experience, which has given me personal proof that what we call the unseen spiritual world exists, and also of the existence of angels (or exstra terrestial if you like) and other heavenly things, and from this supernatural experience I know that my writings have been noted from heaven above, because this angel has greeted me as the author of Reconciliation of the Universe. I will write about this supernatural experience at the beginning of that part of my writings called, Reconciliation of the Universe, as this would be the best way for my readers to understand the meaning of my experience. (And there I will also write a chapter where I am asking myself this question: Who are these angels?)
I think that my theory which I am going to write here could well be the beginning of the world religion of the future. So, I think that I might call my religious writings: Modern World religious Reconciliation; because that’s what I would like my writings to achieve. As you all know what is happening in the religious world nowadays is shocking, as some religious leaders twist their religious meanings and instead of preaching peace they preach war, and so, something needs to be done to neutralize that.
Therefore this is another of the main reasons for me to write my views, as I believe that there are too many religions in the world, even though they may be similar they are somehow different to one another, so, their leaders tend to argue with one another, in the hope that they can impose their point of view of their own religious beliefs on the others; this makes religion itself look bad. So, in my religious writings by moving everything one step high and linking them together I hope to find the way how to neutralize that.
I feel that I have to write this as it is my duty as a human being to improve the present situation, and I am sure that from now on we (all the peaceful people of planet earth) will try to find a way together for world religious reconciliation: And my personal way that I am suggesting here is written in this my book including, Reconciliation of the Universe.
So, I am going to write my religious writings as my soul guides me, and also because of the sign that I have seen and also because of what has happened to me and my family, which sometimes makes me think that those things have happened for a reason, and therefore these happenings have driven me to write. Therefore what I am writings here is being written as my personal prayer to God Most High.

Prayer of Reconciliation

You, angels of the realm of glory
You tell us about the eternal story
You tell us about the creator's glory
You tell us the wonders of God's creation.

PRAYER OF RECONCILIATION

Father, with my concens I come praying to you God-Most-High, master and eternal life giver of the universe, I am praying thee for forgiveness, reconciliation, cleansing, guidance and blessing.
Father, I am praying and hoping that in your mercy you would forgive me all my life sins, and that you would make me spiritually clean of any impurities that may affect my soul; and thus, I would become worthy to pray to you and my prayers of forgiveness and reconciliation would be heard and accepted.
I am praying in the hope that I would receive your forgiveness, reconciliation cleansing, guidance and blessing, and after receiving them, let me be your humble servant.
Father, hear my prayer forgive me my sins and bless me; so that I can live in harmony with thy eternal life-force; and also help me to write these religious beliefs, Amen.

Let me try to explain how I feel about the above prayer.

My dear reader: As you can see, my prayer above is directed to our Father God Most High and that is good, as God is really the divinity that we should all be praying before any others.
By praying to God-Most-High directly, not only we are able to say a better prayer; but are also able to neutralize any doubts in the mind of other people who belong to other religions, and we will appear as brothers to all the world religions at the same time, because we would be able to bypass any doubts of separatism in the minds of people belonging to other religious groups, as God-Most-High is the focal point where all religions meet together.
Of course all religious groups have their own way of praying, and they could keep their own praying ways, if they like to do so, since that is the way that they know how to pray. I am sure that it will not make any difference at all how they pray, because they still should be able to link their own prayers to our Father God Most High, as God-Most-High is the highest of all positive life-force that guides the whole universe, and therefore, He links all religions together, since all religions have been born from Him.
Forgive me my reader if you find hard to believe what I have just said above, and also what I am going to say next: but all will be explained to you again and again as I go on writing. But now let me say just a few more things about this subject; pointing out to you how and why a prayer (a person who prays) should start to pray his own personal prayer.
Any praying person should start to pray in his own personal way that is in the way which he has been taught to pray from his parents or community which one belongs. Therefore, in my writings I will not be able to show everyone how to pray or start praying, because I will only be able to pray my own way; and therefore, you must try to use your own ways of praying.
Now, since most of my prayers in my writings will be direct to our Father God Most High; in order to keep to the highest focal point for all world religions to agree: Just because I happen to be a Roman Catholic person, I am going to use the most important opening way that a Roman Catholic person uses when they start praying, so, the opening prayer or first link in my personal case to our Father Most High is the sign of the cross, which is the sign of the Holy Trinity as this clearly is stated in the words, The-Father, The-Son and the Holy-Spirit. Of course there are also other ways on how to start praying to God our Father, which is whatever one religious person is using as opening prayer in his own religion as I have said above. It is also possible for anybody to pray going through smaller deities and saints and I will talk about these prayers in a chapter later on.
But now let me go back to the prayer written above that I have just prayed and how I feel, since I have prayed God for forgiveness and reconciliation: I can tell you that I feel more confident that God will hear my prayers, not only for my reconciliation, but also for help and otherwise, and in his own ways through the guiding force of The-Holy-Spirit God will help me write my religious writings, which are the most important part of my writings here. And God would also help me with my personal wants and needs, which they are mostly to keep me safe and healthy and to keep safe and in good health all the members of my family.
So now my dear readers allow me just for a moment to talk about my own personal needs, because as a human being this is one of the main reasons why I started writing about religion, and I am still writing these religious writings here. Therefore because I need some personal help right now, what I am going to write here would be my personal prayer to our Father God Most High, in the hope that God would hear my prayers, and so would help me by granting my earthly requests.
I believe that for God everything is possible to do, even those things that for us humans beings seem impossible to do, and I believe that as God is our heavenly Father He is very helpful, merciful and compassionate towards us, but we have to try to live according to His will and pray to Him if and when we need His help, so, we should turn to God and praying state our needs, even if what we want and what we need for us humans seems an impossible thing to humanly achieve.
Therefore as I have already said and let me say it again, another of the many reasons why I am writing here, it is because nowadays I need really help from God, since only God would be able to help me. I believe that I need God’s help right now, because there is illness in my family and the doctors don’t seem to find a good lasting cure, so, I have no other way but to turn to God and pray with all my heart, my soul and my mind, I am praying God just like most people would pray, but from the bottom of my heart I feel that I have to do more because of my special needs, in order to receive from God what I would like to have, and therefore, these writings that I am writing here are dedicated as my personal prayer to God Most High, in the hope that God would help me and grant me my earthly requests.
Now that I have partly explained to you the reasons for my personal needs, let me write the introductory explanation of my religious writings.

Now let me talk about these religious writings review.

Dear reader and believer, first of all, I would like to inform you that the following religious writings review are going to be according to the existing religious beliefs; because they are not trying to change anything from the existing beliefs at all, and in fact they are being written in order to consolidate in a collective way what I believe is known today, so that existing religious beliefs may have a better chance to survive and be useful for future generations. So, don’t expect much change from these reviews, even if sometimes they may seem to you that they are not completely according to the existing religious beliefs.
Personally I believe or at least I hope that God likes the idea that I should write my religious writings, since a strange event has happened to me, as I personally have proof to believe that I have been greeted from an angel from heaven as the author of Reconciliation of the Universe; I am saying this because there is no other possible explanation for what I have heard and seen. This special encounter I am going to write fully at the beginning of the part of these religious writing which I call Reconciliation of the Universe.
Because of this encounter, I believe that God is going to help me write my religious writings of Reconciliation of the Universe in his own ways. I am saying this, because I know that for me is not going to be easy to write them as I am only a simple unlearned man, so, only with the help of God I may be able to write these writings.
You see I seem to get in all sorts of trouble when I try to write anything at all, and I get in far more trouble when I want to write important things like religion, because while I am trying to write about God’s things I end up writing my personal things. You see both these two subjects are too closely related for me as an unlearned and untrained human being, and the only thing that I would be able to do is to try and keep them separate as much as I can, so that it would make it easier for me to write them, and for you my readers to understand what I intend to say. May God help me while I write them!
Therefore now, since I believe that I have no other choice; but to write my religious writings since I have seen this angel from heaven who greeted me as the author of, Reconciliation of the Universe, I believe that it would be very foolish of me if I don’t write my religious beliefs now. So, let me just go ahead and write them, and may God help me!
I believe that God’s things are very important to express properly, so, let me say a prayer to God-Most-High, which is the highest and the holiest positive life-force of the whole universe, so that He would help me express myself the best way I can, before I can start to talk about any religious matter and my own personal needs.
I believe first of all that I should really try to be worthy to pray for what I want from God. So, first I have to pray God to forgive me my sins, so that I’ll be reconciled with God life force and therefore I would become worthy to pray to Him; and then I could pray and ask God what I would like personally to have, or be helped with.
So, let me pray my personal prayer of reconciliation to our merciful and Heavenly Father God Most High who is also the collective positive life force of the whole universe.
This is my personal prayer of reconciliation, in order to live my life according to thy will.

Just by thinking about what I would like to write in my religious writings I feel very concerned, because in order to say and achieve what I want to say and achieve, I have to break free from some very old religious traditions, which for centuries and even thousands of years have been observed very closely from most religious leaders and believers. So, for me to come out suddenly and break free from the old religious traditions would be shocking to everybody to say the least. Therefore, for this very reason I am also concerned that the whole world may hate me for writing them, and for the same reason they may not accept my religious views easily.
Therefore, first and foremost I have to be strong in my own beliefs if I have to write them, and I have to believe that it is God’s will that I have to write these religious writings, since I feel that God has sown in me this seed of wanting to write them. So, I pray God to help me and guide me in this hard task.
In order to give an explanation to the present state of religious things, I am inclined to believe that the reasons for the present religious traditions for being as they are and for being left unchanged for so long has been because people have always had a great fear to change them. Of course without a doubt there have been good reasons not to change them until now, and there have been also many reasons of convenience not to change them until nowadays.
But as we all know, there is a right time and a wrong time for doing anything, and even though in the past it would have been right not to change any of these religious traditions, nowadays it would be wrong not to change or upgrade them at all.
Because nowadays old religious traditions start looking a bit strange, because nowadays we view thing different in our mind eyes, the reason why we have this different view it is because we perceive them in a different way, and the reason for perceiving them in a different way it is because in today’s world things are changing very rapidly compared to the old times, and this is changing our way of thinking and perceiving things. These changes that are taking place now are going to change even faster in the future.
Therefore, if we think about it and make use of our minds to reflect about what’s really happening now, we will begin to understand that with the passing of time everything will change even those things that for a very long time we believed could never change and would never change. Therefore today we find ourselves in a position that needs adjustment for the future and this includes also existing religious beliefs: So, in order to make the right adjustments everything should be reviewed and adjusted to suit the present time and also the future times; otherwise soon or later the existing old religious ways would not make any real sense to the present world generations and even less sense to the future generations. Now, if religion does not make good sense to the believers they would not believe in religion, and therefore there is a good chance that they could even abandon religion altogether.
Therefore, I believe that the time has come when existing religious beliefs cannot stay any longer as they are now, and those persons like me who believe in God and religion have got to do something about it to ensure that religious beliefs last forever.
These actions that we have to take now have become necessary in order to secure the future for religions, even if we find it hard to modify them. We need to do this now, because human evolution has reached a very advanced stage, and I dare say that humanity these days start to question the present religious system, because nowadays we are living in the age of reason, where the human mind perceives lots more things than we used to understand in the past, and through these extra understanding that we have, we often like to believe that our minds can guide us to overcome anything in our way with or without God’s help.
Then we are also living in the age of the computer, which enable us to learn things a lot faster than ever before. Because of this computer devise some of the people on earth are becoming very learned and intellectually advance faster than ever before, and through this acquired knowledge, they sometimes ask themselves what’s the use of religion nowadays, because they are able to perceive that these existing religious traditions don’t fit very well the needs of the people in nowadays world; therefore, if this leading group of people, or part of this leading group of people are not fast religious believers, they may have a point to say that religious traditions have become useless beliefs.
So, in order to avoid this happening to religions and ruin ourselves in the eyes of God, we who believe in God and religion as it is now and as it has been from the beginning of times, nowadays we know that we have to do something about it, because it is obvious that we need to modify religions and make religions fit the needs of this present generation and also the future generations.
